Thank you so much for sharing this. This was what was in my heart about this whole project…I was thinking about the example I want to set for my now 9 month old daughter. Am I going to keep complaining about my weight and hair when she’s old enough to understand what I’m saying? What kind of effect will that have on her?! I loved your thoughts about being a mom and setting that example for your daughters. They are lucky to have you! Definitely one of my favorite posts in the movement so far. Thank you! <3
Thank you Ashton! It wasn’t easy to admit – but it’s so true. Motherhood is not easy, and raising daughters isn’t easy. The best thing we can do is be kind to ourselves, so they can do the same as they grow and develop into women. xo
