It takes real patience to capture the thought of possibility being a creation of God and what that really means for us. I find it easier to see this in my life when I look at my children. I think, “There is no way that I created these perfect babies by myself.” No way. Life is an inexplainable series of events, thoughts, emotions, fears and experiences that are bigger than us. Our story is as diverse as each person that walks planet earth. There are no two sets of life existence and circumstances that are exactly the same.
Our parents, siblings, friends, children, location, cultures, personalities, stresses, celebrations, religion, pain, years we live…. EVERYTHING is unique to us – right down to our very DNA and spirit. Everything. So, how then could we EVER judge how another person would live their unique life plan? The very thought of it is laughable.
We are all God’s creations. Period.
Let’s have a little more patience and kindness for others. Instead of talking about all of the “wrong” in somebody, let’s focus on what about ourselves we can make “right”. This is an individual thing – even down to our particular definition of right and wrong. It forces us to look into our own souls – instead of wasting so much time trying to see into others – which is impossible anyway. The world would be a much better place if we all took our big noses out of our neighbors business and looked straight into the mirror.
Let’s start there.
