My family and I have been eating this delicious breakfast for years, when one day I read a Women’s Health article (sent to me by my sweet sister) about the great health benefits of all these foods combined. It touted all about how THIS is the perfect after work-out breakfast! And so I’m sharing it with you today!
It’s so easy:
What you’ll need:
thick cut ham
cheese (you can opt out of this for fewer calories)
whole wheat english muffins
I make each muffin all at the same time; I place the ham in part of the pan, my muffins/biscuits face down in another, spray a little cooking spray and cook my egg in the last open part of my pan. Toast your muffin, brown the ham, and cook your egg to your liking (over-easy really is the best! The yolk makes the perfect dressing for this healthy egg mcmuffin!) Put it all together with your cheese and avocado and don’t wait to bite in! It’s best while it’s hot! Enjoy!!
