I am admittedly a new runner. I remember a day that I used to adore running, unfortunately that was when I was in the second grade, had no boobs, and could even beat some of the fastest boys in class. Over the years I grew less and less confident in my ability to run. The insecurities of not being fast enough made me think I wasn’t able to run at all and should therefore stop all together.
Through inspiration from my brother I have tried to erase those negative thoughts and embrace what could be a happy relationship with running. It is a sport that requires so little equipment but so much mental strength.
Fitness as a mother is a priority to me and I want to start sharing my journey with you on this blog! Why haven’t I done this sooner? Probably because it is terrifying to open up to something that I perceive as a complete weakness of mine.
Music is everything to me and it is amazing how the tempo and energy of my run can change when that right song comes on. This is what I am listening to right now:

I love to run with a running belt to put my phone in while I am running, it is like a fanny pack much much slimmer and more flattering! 😉
