Allow to dry, overnight if possible, or at least 8 hours.

Once dry, open the spackle and using scissors, carefully cut the edge/lip of the lid off.

Carefully add hot glue to the spackle lid and quickly add the lid to the top of the mug upside down, press to secure.

Add pink paint to the spackle and mix well with a plastic spoon.

Add more paint as needed.

Using the smaller paint brush, add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the lid.

Set aside for a few minutes.

Add your pink spackle to a piping bag with decorative tip.

Pipe spackle onto the lid to resemble whipped cream, making sure to go around the edge of the lid.

Brush Mod Podge to the back of a conversation heart and press it very gently into the spackle “whipped cream”.

Repeat with the amount of hearts you would like.

Remove a berry from the bunch and remove stem.

Add Mod Podge to the berry and add to the top of the spackle, like a cherry.

Cut about ⅓ of the paper straw and insert it into the whipped cream on an angle.

Allow to air dry and don’t touch for 24-48 hours.

Tips/Tricks/Notes:

  • When adding paint to the spackle, start off with about a tablespoon, add more as needed. Don’t exceed 2 tablespoons.
  • Make sure to mix the spackle very well.
  • Even after drying, handle gently, as the spackle can be temperamental.
  • Change the paint colors to your liking.
  • KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN!
