Be A Hero

You will be hurt.  Love anyway. You will be sad.   Smile anyway. You will be lonely.  Sing anyway. You will be mad.  Be a friend anyway. You will be used.  Serve anyway. Life is about moving forward, through your pain You will fall, be bruised, battered, and torn but for the ultimate gain Keep fighting...

My Pain Free Natural Birth Story

I chose to use the Hypnobabies method which you can read more about HERE or buy materials HERE. Written by: Camille For those who have followed my story until this point you know that I have been skeptical of so called “pain free” childbirth. I weighed the pros and cons of an epidural vs going...

Managing our Thoughts, to Be Happy

Written by: Janae Are you ever shocked by the thoughts that randomly pop into your brain?  I am.  Descartes, father of modern philosophy, shared the thought, “I think.  Therefore, I am.”  He couldn’t have been more right. Until we learn to control our mind, the experiences in our world around us will be a mere...

Natural labor using hypnobirthing and why I chose Hypnobabies

If you have been following my pregnancy up until now, you may remember this post that I wrote on whether or not I wanted to try to go natural with the delivery of my third child. I had an epidural with my first delivery that only worked so/so, on my next delivery I had a...

I’m a Banyan Tree

Most days, my home is downright, busy-crazy faced – insanity. Kids running, whining, driving, playing, eating, picking on, jumping, annoying, sleeping, primping, hiding, fighting, messing, brushing, and gamboozleing. And more usual than not, my mind functions about the same. But other days, I get a flash of clarity.  If only for a moment – my...

Christmas Paper Craft Ideas You’ll Love – Kids Crafts

It’s official! I am THAT girl. You know, the one who listens to Christmas music even BEFORE Thanksgiving!  I can’t help it.  We’ve been crafting up a storm around here for Christmas, and what’s crafting without Christmas music?  Which, ps: I pretty much only craft at Christmas time.  Some of my very best memories growing up are of doing kid’s crafts with my mom, and now some of my best mommy memories are crafting with my kids.  So, despite my lack of talent, we through all caution to the wind and just have a blast!

To start off, I am so excited about this darling countdown to Christmas calendar I made!  Believe me when I say that if I can do it, ANYONE can!!      Click to read in full.

Never Say Die!

As I go through my days, I always assume the BIG things that change my life will be further between then they actually are.  Right as I push through one wall, I run into another – and another – and other.  Walls don’t necessarily have to be labeled “bad” but they are things that challenge...

38 week pregnancy update

On prepping to go natural…

Okay, so maybe it isn’t exactly time….yet. But it is getting close and now it is the waiting game. I am actually pleasantly surprised that I am still pregnant as I lost my mucous plug two weeks ago and was afraid that this little one was coming a little too early. But as I woke this morning I donned my striped shirt and mentally gave him the go ahead as from here on out I feel very comfortable in his arrival. Very comfortable you might ask?

Cherishing Every Moment

I’m Kim. I’m a blogger, a lover of cooking, cleaning, and playing outside. Most days, I would rather be anywhere but inside my house. I prefer adventure. And I have two young kids. Sometimes I feel like the days just drag on with crying, hitting, and my youngest getting into everything he shouldn’t over and...
