All of my kids have loved and still love The Very Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle. It’s a colorful and silly story that is a classic in children’s literature. I have owned multiple copies over the years because the kids love it so much that it tends to get over handled by their little fingers.

Your kids will love this book and these writing pages make great activities for after you read The Very Hungry Caterpillar with them. I used this idea during the summer when the kids needed to practice their skills and it ended up being a fun week with activities that all relate to the book.

These would also make the perfect writing activities and letter recognition in a preschool and kindergarten class setting. So if you are teaching this, please print these and use them.
