I’ve had it. I’m done feeling out of shape, tired and old. I am not ready to roll over and die. I want to feel good in my skin. I want to be comfortable each day as I get dressed. I want to be healthy and a good example to my children. I want to be fit.
I’ve given birth to five children – gain and lost 50 pounds each time – and then adopted, and kept on stress weight. I’m not quite she what happened. My hormone levels went crazy, and before I knew it – I had gained 25 pounds in two months, after getting the hormone iud. That thing was the devil. I thought once I was rid of it, I’d naturally lose the weight, but it’s three years later and I still haven’t.
I’m sure this is due to a lot of things… bad eating habits, less exercise, having a hysterectomy, age… the list goes on and on. I try to ignore it, or wish it away, or figure it out in my sleep – but nothing has worked yet. I guess it’s time to actually roll up my sleeves and get to work. I wish I could do it alone – but I know myself – and I don’t do things as well unless I am part of a team.
So. here. we. go.
I am joining team beach body. SHABAM! I am going to be a beach body coach. The best part about it is that Kinley is helping me! It’s so fun to have my daughter be my encouragement. I’m a bit crazy starting to focus on this right before Thanksgiving and Christmas, but maybe it will help me at least stay where I am and not gain weight during the holidays.
