Through Kid Labs, I have met so many awesome women, and think Jen Marco embodies this saying perfectly!
Jen is a professional vocalist, and a hero in a lot of ways. First, she goes for her dreams – without looking back. She decided that she wanted to make music to support her family, and she made it happen. She jumped on a bus when she was twenty-two, all alone, and moved from Illinois to Utah. She had only packed two suitcases and was fueled by her dreams and goals.
Jen loves being able to schedule around her kids lives, while doing what she loves. She does all kinds of singing, such as solo choral, back up choral, studio sessions for hire, and more. She even has recorded for an EFY soundtrack and worked with Donny Osmond! Jen offers workshops, where she focuses on mind, body, and voice to help people succeed in their singing goals.
You can learn more about Jen on her website: Vocal Breakthrough ProductionsAs we got to know each other, I also was reminded, that none of us really know where each day will take us. We can make plans and goals, but fate – our destiny – still has a mind of it’s own. In Jen’s case, she ended up writing an online work book on codependency using Christ centered principles, that coincides with the twelve step program, for the families of addicts. This wasn’t her original plan, but it’s just where she ended up. You can find it HERE. It looks amazing, and I can’t wait to check it out!
Jen is a single mom of three, ages 13, 10, and 7 – and I have no doubt that they have learned a lot from this beautiful mother of theirs. Jen, thanks for sharing just a few parts of your journey! I think we can all learn something from each other, and especially today, from your strong spirit and your ability to share it with the world!
AND if you’re like me, and you feel like you just can’t live without her in your daily life, you can find her on Facebook HERE
Hello! I am Camille, a wife, mother of four, Disney obsessed, certified teacher, and reality optimist. Motherhood comes with its ups and downs, and I hope while you’re here you’ll find something that makes your #momlife easier!
Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts. Every woman (and man) needs a way to be reminded of their uniqueness and a time to feel special outside of the everyday. It was inspiring.
