It is hard to believe it has been almost six months since having my fourth baby. Now that I am getting somewhat regular hours of sleep I am feeling more ready to work out, treat my skin, eat healthy, and get back to feeling “me” again. Typically this can take me up to a year,...

Thanks for your sharing. There such useful tips, although I cannot apply them but these can be saved for my girl. 🙂
Nice ! Have to save them for my sister cause she just got pregnant 😀
Thanks for sharing those products !
So glad you like it!
Hi there, thanks so much for your sharing :). Now I know how to take care of my skin before the baby coming out. I will try to use those products you recommend. Great!
Thank you very much for sharing this. I don’t have a baby now but my cousin does. And both of us are having issues with dry skin. Hopefully this will help.
One question: I like your mom tip of convincing your son to rub your feet while you read him stories. It’s great. But is the product safe for him?
Thanks again.
We live in Idaho in the high desert and both my and my kids’ skin get soooo dry in the winter! I would love to try the cerupeutic. But the foot cream sounds great too! Especially if I can get someone to massage my feet with it!
These lotion products are not only good for post pregnancy but also for allergy pron and sensitive skin. I like the AmLactin Uktra Hydrating Body cream because it’s fragrance free. I rub lotion on my “allergic to everything” son’s legs at night to help him sleep better. It helps hydrate them so he isn’t itching all night.
My son has really severe Keratosis on everything- cheeks, back of arms, top of arms, legs, and bum. It flares up especially in this weather and it’s really irritating for him. We have tried EVERYTHING that promises to calm the bumps down and nothing worked. Last year tried the regular Amlactin moisturizing cream and I was super impressed but it didn’t fully clear it, just reduced it significantly. I’d love to try one of the others like the Ultra to see if it can clear it for him!!!! What great tips!!
*on a side not I too wish I had’ve thought to pretreat with this stuff before my pregnancies! I should definitely try something for now. Stinking stretch marks!
Hi, your baby is so beautiful! Such an angel! You did an article very useful for new mothers like me. Hope to see other posts about caring for our babies next of you! Of course, I will try buying Amlactin for my baby!
“During pregnancy and nursing, hormones cause breast tissue to expand, and the surrounding skin stretches to accommodate this,” says Aron Kressel, M.D., chief of plastic surgery at Metropolitan Hospital, in New York City. “Afterwards, the tissue shrinks, but the skin is no longer as elastic.” Though the only permanent picker-upper for your postbaby breasts is plastic surgery, you don’t have to go under the knife to get a little lift.
