With just a few simple steps, you can have an amazing snowman pancake breakfast that will put smiles on everyone’s faces.
I made this fun breakfast for my kids yesterday morning. They thought it was so funny. Now if only we had snow on the ground to make a real snowman…
For your Snowman Pancake Breakfast you will need:
Snowman = pancakes
hat and arms = ham
eyes and buttons = chocolate chips (I wish I had blueberries instead, but my boys thought it was awesome!)
nose = clementine segment
ground = eggs
The rest of the clementine was served on the side.
How do I make pancakes from scratch?
To make pancakes, you will need the following ingredients: 1 cup of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of milk and 3 tablespoons of butter (melted).
Firstly, you want to sift together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt) into a bowl. Then, add the milk and melted butter and mix until combined.
In a non-stick pan on medium heat, pour about 1/2 cup of the pancake batter onto the pan. Once bubbles start to form around the edges of the pancakes, flip them over and cook until they are golden brown on both sides.
Once the pancakes are cooked, it’s time to assemble them into a snowman! Place the three pancakes on a plate. To make the hat and arms, lay two slices of ham in an X shape over each pancake. Place two chocolate chips for eyes, one for the nose and four for buttons. Finally, top with a clementine segment for the nose and two eggs as the ground. And you’re done!
Your snowman pancakes are ready to eat! Enjoy this unique breakfast with your family and let us know how it turns out in the comments below. Bon appetit!
