My son is in the second grade and is just now starting to get into reading which is very exciting for me! One of his favorite things to read are the “I survived” series and joke books. Knock knock jokes are some of his favorites and he gets a kick out of learning the differences with play on words.
This inspired me to make him some cow valentines for Valentine’s Day and cow jokes to add to his lunch box and he LOVES them!
As he is a huge Star Wars fan, this is his very favorite, “Milk, I am your father!”
I keep my lunches pretty simple because he is a pretty picky eater. The good news is he loves simple things like PB & honey sandwiches, fruit and string cheese. I love that the Horizon line has so many options that are organic and delicious.
You can find cheese crackers, cinnamon snacks, cottage cheese, milk, and fruit snacks. I was able to find all of these products at my local Smiths, but you can use this store locator to find the store closest to you that carries Horizon.
I made these printables for you so that you can add them to your own little sweetie’s lunch. You could also use them for your valentines’ this year to pass out to the class.
