I am now the seasoned parent of three small people and have had my share of strollers. A double stroller that I love has been particularly hard to find because I want one that is big enough to hold my four year old but also small enough to fit through a single door. Is this too much to ask without paying upwards of $600-$700? It is NOT! My friends, I have found the double stroller that I love and I will tell you the reasons why….Now with full disclosure I approached Britax to partner with them on this post because I love their products and wanted to share the awesomeness with you. I first fell in love with Britax when I tried out the infant car seat. This seat is on sale for $134, $40 off its regular price and I have LOVED this car seat.
It has amazing safety features and the thing that I love most about it is that it can hold tall babies without having to switch out to a new car seat within the first year of life! Some of it’s features include:
- side impact protection distributes crash forces, shields from vehicle intrusion and contains the head and body
- Tangle free, five-point harness distributes crash forces across the strongest parts of the body and provides a secure fit
- Stroller compatible design; Integrated click and go adapter system works with Britax B-Series strollers
- Four harness heights and two buckle positions for your growing child
Because I loved this car seat I really wanted a stroller that could work with it. These were my wishlist items:
1. I wanted a stroller with tires that wouldn’t pop
I live in an area that isn’t fully developed and has newly constructed homes going up. Because of this my tires were constantly getting popped by thorns that were on the sidewalk from the un-groomed weedy areas. I was constantly having to refill my tires with goo or replace them with new tubes and it was getting pricey and very annoying.
2. I wanted a stroller that would fit through a single door
How often have you been at a theme park, shopping mall, or museum that your stroller couldn’t fit through because it was too wide? I had a double jogging stroller that I really liked, but because of its width I just couldn’t fit through a single-width size door and would have to leave the stroller behind. If you have been to any of these places with more than one child things can get a little difficult because each child wants to run in different directions. I was so happy to find the my Britax B-Agile fit through with no problems at all. The best news is that the kids are not giving up convert for this ability either, they have plenty of space.
Serious victory face going on here!!

3. I wanted a stroller that would adapt to carry a newborn-child size
My toddler is now big enough that I no longer have to attach the infant seat adapter, but I do plan to have another child and I know that this will come in so handy because this Mama only has two hands. Simply buy this little attachment and you are good to go.
The awesome news is that my very tall seven year old can also sit in this stroller comfortably and begs to take a turn!
4. I wanted a stroller that would move smoothly and handle bumps well
If you are deciding whether or not you want a jogging stroller or a stroller that you could use for all purposes, this stroller is your friend. I have taken it to high speeds (take this with a grain of salt because I am not the world’s fastest runner), but this stroller handled my “better grab that blouse on sale” run with no problems at all. Really, it could transition on an on-road jogging stroller quite nicely if you have limited stroller space or budget.
5. I wanted a stroller with great storage/coverage options.
The storage in the stroller is awesome. You have have storage on the back of each seat that is attached to the overhead canopy that is over-sized and amazing. You can also access the underneath storage from the front in the “hard to reach” places that are virtually impossible to access otherwise. My son wasn’t too happy about me getting up in his business to take this picture, but I promise you, you are going to love this!
If you are looking for even more storage, you can buy this clip on storage to hold your phone, drinks, and keys.
If you would like more coverage you can purchase this rain guard that will keep the entire stroller and your children dry.
