Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
-
1 Tablespoon white sugar
-
1 cup warm water
-
2 1/2 cups bread flour
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in flour, salt and oil with a wooden spoon. Mix a little with your hands to incorporate all the flour, if needed. Let rise for 20 minutes.
3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a round. Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or pizza stone. Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and spread with desired toppings and bake in for additional 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.

**If you’d like, add a little garlic powder or your favorite herbs to the crust before rolling out and baking.**
