Today was a bust.
Well, not a total bust. I woke up at 5:30, got ready, got my kids ready, went to work DID DRINK MY SHAKOLOGY, worked all day, came home and changed, hosted an event for 130 people DIDN’T EAT ALL OF THE FREE DESSERT THAT BROUGHT TO THE PARTY, came home around 10:30 – hadn’t eaten anything except a small salad at lunch, got FAST FOOD, but I ate a salad and THREE of my daughters onion rings!!
I RAN out of time to exercise. BAH. So, some good and some not so good. I will post pictures of the awesome Tribalry women’s night out party, soon. So you see, I did a lot of good, but I was not perfect. I decided to call it one of my days off, because I was completely exhausted at 11:30 when I fell into bed.
Then my husband called. He’s been out of town for over a week – even over Thanksgiving for work. We are expanding our business, RBM Building Services, into Washington, and it just ended up being over the holiday. I’ve been an entrepreneurs wife for long enough to understand and support him in going. It’s been over twenty years of blood, sweat and tears. We have put everything EVERYTHING on the line to make it. Somehow, we pushed through the horrible economy. Somehow, we’ve made it without ever getting investors and giving up ownership. Somehow. But, it has not been easy, and that is the understatement of the century. We started with 100 employees, and now we are are up to 1,000 ten years later. We’ve taken our business to our region, having presence in Idaho, Las Vegas (soon), Utah, Wyoming and now Washington.
So, when Jon called – even though I was exhausted, I needed to talk to him. I miss him and the kids miss him.
So there you have it. Day two. Some points for the team – and some fails. Final score? Even after failing on several accounts – I still feel like it was a productive day and I was headed in the right direction with my Beachbody Goals.
Oh, and on a side note: I miss my Grand baby Emma. Isn’t she just the cutest little button baby smily angel you’ve ever seen? I thought so too!
