Did you know you can bake potatoes in a Crock Pot!? I’m talking any kind of potato here too. Russet, Yukon, yams, sweet potatoes, whatever kind you like. Just throw them in your slow cooker in the morning and then go about your day and then come home to perfectly cooked potatoes. I made sweet potatoes in my Crock Pot and they were perfectly soft and delicious.
How to bake a potato in a slow cooker
Ingredients
- Potatoes
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- tin foil
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the potatoes. Stab each potato with a fork 6-7 times (this will prevent them from exploding while they cook). Drizzle olive oil on each potato and rub in with your hands to cover the entire potato. Season with salt and pepper and then wrap each potato tightly in tin foil. Place in the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 hours or until soft when you press the potato with your finger.
