Halloween was a huge success at our house! We had such a wonderful night having a potluck dinner with our neighborhood and then running from house to house trick or treating.
One way that I have liked to portion out the candy in a fun way is to make a Christmas candy countdown. In each day’s “pocket” there is a treat or two for us to share.
This year we didn’t get as much candy as we did last year…so I actually went to walmart and got some bags of candy for just a $1 a piece! This is a great way to buy a little extra candy for birthdays or stocking stuffers.
You will need:
Seran wrap
scissors
twine/ribbon
Candy (of course)
***A few fun helpers to help you assemble it all…
Get the kids involved and talk about the fun things to come in the next two months!
Try to wrap up the candies in a twisted pocket so candies wont escape on their own!
We will be finding a high place to hide these!
I think we found one! Happy Holidays to you all. Let the crazy begin.
