Podcast listenership is growing by leaps and bounds. In 2022, it’s not uncommon for moms to listen in order take their mind off the kids or stress from work without feeling guilty about missing out on what they should have been doing at home all day long! The best podcasts for moms are those designed specifically with women audiences like ourselves who want something entertaining yet educational. Superpower your day by using your time to fuel you as you do the mundane tasks day to day.
Best Podcasts for Moms that empower
The first podcast on this list is The Mom Hour. This podcast was created by two moms, Carin Rockind and Megan Tietz. They discuss a wide range of topics relevant to mothers, such as time management, self-care, and discipline strategies. What I like about this podcast is that it provides actionable advice that you can implement right away.
The second podcast on this list is Band of Mothers Podcast is a podcast for moms that’s not about parenting.
Hosts and lifelong friends, Shayna Ferm and Tracey Tee, (creators of the hit, national touring comedy show, “The Pump and Dump Show”) focus on one central theme over several hilarious, binge-worthy episodes, as they explore life as 40-something women who also happen to be moms.
Like no podcast you’ve heard before, each episode is its own variety show, featuring real moms’ call-in stories, games, original comedy, original music and inspiring guest interviews. After a delightfully entertaining hour with Shayna and Tracey, you’ll feel like you laughed as much as you learned, and most importantly you’ll know that you truly belong to a #BandofMothers.
Podcasts for Chasing your Passion
The third podcast is Call Me CEO hosted by me, Camille Walker, as I share the stories of women who are building businesses as they balance motherhood. Each story is so unique and full of inspiration for creatives, entrepreneurs, inventors, retail shop owners, course creators, authors, and more. This podcast isn’t for business owners only, it is filled with advice from women all over the world who give you real life examples of how they are learning and choosing to live their best lives.
The fourth podcast on this list is The Boob Group. This show is hosted by two moms, Sandy and Kristen, who discuss a variety of topics related to breastfeeding and parenting. I like that this podcast provides practical advice for mothers. One of my favorite episodes is “How To Pump & Store Breastmilk” with lactation consultant Rana Fiol.
The fifth podcast on this list is Rosie and Adam, The duo behind the Irish Mummy, the show where business and motherhood meet is all about combining the two worlds that make life, and lifestyle, possible. They are such a wonderful dynamic duo and really put a lot of thought into helping other lead full, beautiful lives.
The sixth podcast is The Positively You Podcast by Jessie Larson. Each week Jessie bring a dose of actionable steps for you to make your life better. Whether it is mindset, relationships, health, habit forming, or life in general Jessie will help you keep a positive outlook on life’s curveballs.
The seventh podcast is The Chalene Show. Chalene’s show isn’t mom specific, but she has a TON of good advice for humans in general and I love how real and authentic she is. She talks a lot about what she learned as a busy mom and what she would change if she could looking back. My favorite thing that she is, “if you think you’ve peaked in your potential as a young mom I promise you there is so much more time to do what you want to do. You can never replace the time you have with you little ones, but there will always be time to pursue your passions as you get older.” (I am paraphrasing, but you get the idea.)
These are just a few of the best podcasts for moms in 2022. I hope you will find one or two that interest you and give them a try! Happy listening!
