I love eating out as a family and want to start sharing with you some of our favorite spots to visit that are family friendly and have a variety on the menu that everyone will be satisfied with. I was so happy to say yes when Cracker Barrel asked if I would partner with them in this post because I love taking my family there and I wanted to share with you things that you may not know about Cracker Barrel. 
1.They have recently introduced a lighter menu and wholesome Fixin’s® Vegetables and Sides are crafted to be big on taste but not on calories. You can choose from items like oven baked chicken rather than fried and multi grain pancakes or toast. My favorite is their
Southern Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad:
Seasoned grilled chicken on top of fresh romaine lettuce tossed in Buttermilk Caesar Dressing. Served with shaved Parmesan cheese, two deviled eggs, grape tomatoes and our multigrain croutons. All of this for only 580 CALORIES!
2. They have a general store where you can buy things like deli meats, jerky, dry goods, or breakfast meats! If you happen to be searching for a new recipe to make your neighbors drool, they actually offer recipes for you to try as well! What!? Find the latest recipe HERE.
In the mood for a little shopping? Check out Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store! You can also find products like games, toys, music, clothing, accessories and more in their store. They even offer seasonal decorations!
3. They have a kids menu even you will want to eat off of.
This kids meal is no joke, my kids have always loved their fries and talk about them as if they would bathe in them if I allowed it.
4. They are friendly with travelers and even offer to entertain you.
Road trips can be daunting and draining. A drive through is only so satisfying when all you really want is a warm meal and a cozy bed. Cracker Barrel cannot help you on the bed part but they can certainly make your tummy happy! Check out these games they offer to make your travel happier as well.
5. Most importantly Cracker Barrel offers delicious, nourishing meals.
Whether we are traveling in another state or just looking for a night out we know that we will always be happy with eating at the Cracker Barrel. I can’t decide whether I like their breakfast items or their dinner better, but you will have to decide for yourself!
