Stay at Home Fat Burning Workout

Looking for a Stay at Home Fat Burning Workout? Getting to the gym can be difficult for me as a stay at home mom. I do appreciate gyms, but they can be expensive, and they can also contain a lot of germs in the daycare. I have been experimenting with different workouts to do at home and this is one of my new favorites. This fat burning workout doesn’t require any equipment and doesn’t take a lot of time either. stay-home-fat-burning-workout This is a circuit type set of exercises that is designed to get your heart rate up and burn fat fast. Of course, you should always consult with your doctor before starting any workout routine or taking on a new activity. I think it is best to do a warm up before you start this workout. This could be 10 minutes doing a fast walk/slow jog, 50 jumping jacks, or running in place. CIRCUIT TRAINING>

  • 20 squat jumps
  • 20 burpees
  • 20 Spiderman plank leg raises
  • 20 pushups
  • 20 side plank leg lifts
  • 20 frog jumps
  • 20 side plank leg lifts

Give yourself 10-30 seconds between each exercise to rest. After doing your first set of twenty, repeat doing 10 of each movement and then again doing 5 of each movement. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your work out! Keeping water close at hand always helps me remember to drink more, even if that means having to put a water bottle in three rooms of the house. Make sure you follow up your workout with a high quality source of protein. It is important that you get your protein in within 30 minutes after your workout to replenish your energy and help your muscles repair.
