What is Nanoe Technology for hair?

I have never owned a “fancy” hair dryer, in fact, I think I owned the same hair dryer for 10 years before it finally broke down a few years ago. I was willing to try something new and was surprised to discover that Panasonic has beauty products and among them in the Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer and Nanoe Flat Iron. I was asked by Panasonic to give an honest review, I was not compensated for this post. So what is Nanoe technology and how will it help my hair?

According to Panasonic.com “The Secret of nanoe™ Technology. So how does our nanoe™ technology work? It takes naturally occurring ions present in the air and breaks them down into significantly smaller particles that are then combined and held together by water molecules. These new moisture-rich nanoe™ particles—with nearly 1,000 times more moisture than regular ions—are infused into the hair and scalp during the drying process. In essence, the nanoe™ Hair Dryer helps protect and beautify your hair by taking the moisture that’s on the outside and putting it on the inside. The result? Smoother, shinier and stronger hair.2″

The Panasonic straightener has High-Performance Ceramic Plates for Quick, Easy StylingWhile some flat irons have plates that vary in temperature while you’re styling, the nanoe™ Flat Iron maintains a consistent temperature on the ceramic plates throughout the styling process, helping to boost curling and straightening performance by as much as 35%.2

In my experience I was very happy with the design, feel, and weight of the blow dryer. This hair dryer looks like serious business and is beautiful. The dryer is quiet and I love that because it wont wake my child if he happens to be napping while I am getting ready. I found that the power of the dryer wasn’t super high and it seemed to take my hair longer to dry. This is understandable in the fact that it isn’t stripping your hair of all of its moisture and is adding moisture back to it. I think this hair dryer would be specifically helpful for someone who is looking to avoid heat damage.

The straightener was able to straighten my hair despite the fact that it didn’t get very hot. I am literally used to seeing my straightener smoking sometimes! It would be a very good option if you wanted to still be able to straighten your hair without causing excessive damage, and I think that is something we all want! This tool would be the perfect fit for my mother as she has fine, blonde hair and often times will air dry for the fear of damaging her hair. This straightener is not particularly good for curling styles if that is the kind of thing you like to do with your straightener.

After using these tools a few times I was very happy with the lack of frizz and didn’t need to add any anti-frizz products to my hair after using them. I think that is an extremely good sign. You can read even more detail about these tools here on Panasonic’s website.
