These potato stamp ghosts are an easy craft for Halloween. You can even use potatoes that have sprouted or that are a little soft, just peel them first. I cut my potatoes the wide way, but you can cut them so they are a little skinnier.
What you need to make potato stamp ghosts:
- potato
- black paper
- white paint
- black paint
Directions:
Cut off the bottom part of the potato to make the flat bottom part of the ghost. Then cut the potato in half. Using the potato like a stamp, dip it in white paint and press onto black construction paper. When the white paint is dry have the child use their finger dipped in black paint to make the eyes and mouth.
Make this craft after reading your favorite Halloween book.
