Pirate and Thomas the Train fans Unite with Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure

My son has been a pirate fan as long as I can remember. As a toddler he would seem to be able to find anything that glittered that he happened to find on the floor and as he got older the obsession for pirates continued. I joke that he is a pirate at heart because we do have ancestry that links him to real pirates from Bermuda. This is Jackson when he was 6 months old, isn’t he the cutest!? Oh, the days when I had one baby to cart around all day!

Fast forward to his 5th birthday….still loving pirates.

I was thrilled when  Fisher-Price asked me to partner for this sponsored post because I knew we would have so much fun discovering this new toy that is a perfect blend of Thomas and pirate in one. All opinions are 100% mine. So now, at almost eight Jackson is loving pirates and was so excited when we put together the new Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™ Shipwreck Rails Set that comes with the new Thomas & Friends DVD, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure Blue Ray & DVD. The track is actually shaped like a loop that can connect to other Thomas the train tracks and has the cool shape of a pirate ship supporting the track. As Thomas comes up and over the bend he turns upside down in a spiraling action and loops in a circle just in time to capture the lost treasure! The kids had so much fun watching Thomas go round and around in the track. The system is made with a counter balance mechanism that allows for the track to spring back into place and be set and ready for the next loop around. We had a little trouble with ours staying on track and through some study I found that if you install piece S2 between ES5 and TTL this will help it to perform correctly. (Found this while reading reviews) 

The kids all thought this toy was a ton of fun and loved it even more after watching the movie together!This Thomas set and MOVIE pack normally retails at $59.97, but it is currently on sale at Walmart for only $34.98, with the cost of the BLU-RAY typically selling for $20 this is a great deal! And if you’re wondering, I did NOT ask Jackson to wear a Christmas hat. He was wearing it in preparation for his 2nd grade Christmas performance. 🙂 It is pretty cute on him though!  I hope your Christmas preparations are going well.
