Hey all! Our guest post today is from Bridget (Bobbie’s sister) who happens to be the lovely lady selling necklaces today on www.sweetsolstice.com! We are just thrilled to be working with her and excited to introduce her to you!
Hey Solstice Sisters readers…
(Why when I say solstice sisters it makes me want to sing Hey Soul Sister… Hmmm…weird lol)
I am very excited to introduce myself today to all of you. I am a party stylist from Utah… California (recently moved and not ready to accept it), who sadly gets a little too excited over paper straws and that perfect center piece. I love looking at party displays, but always wonder how they get it to look like that with out costing an arm and a leg. On my blog I have parties I do things differently. I break down the parties with tutorials so you are able to recreate it on a budget. I love thrift store finds, and I take pride in making a grand party without the grand budget.
I have also been a lover of all things fashion and decor. When most little kids like looking at the toy magazine, I was looking at pottery barn magazines. I would rather any day go shopping for home decor and vintage items than shoes or clothes. I am a accessory hoarder and that is why another passion of mine is my boutique. I am the boutique owner of Bridget’s Boutique, where I sell fashion accessories and party supplies.
Hmmm, let’s see what else? I am the sister of Bobbie Jo who writes for this blog on Saturday and I feel as her little sister I should share some secrets of hers right? (insert evil laugh here) When she was little there was a story on the news saying a boy got hit by a mail truck and Bobbie then turned to my mom and said, “mom, how do we know if the car is a male or female?” Oh how I love her… Sorry Bobbie, my little sister syndrome kicked in and I just had to share 🙂
ANYWAYS… back to me 🙂
When I was asked to introduce myself, I thought no one really cares to know about my life adjusting to a new state with my son and husband… Okay maybe some of you… ummm mom! So I decided to share with you some of my favorite posts.
To kick things off here is my favorite party I have decorated…
