My daughter had a lot of fun with this black cat craft and it was so so easy to make. This one would be fun for Halloween or any time of the year.
Here is what you’ll need for your paper plate cat craft:
-Paper Plate (foam or plastic covered paper plates won’t work)
-paint
-googly eyes
-white and pink paper
Directions:
First start by painting the paper plate. My daughter chose black, but let the child choose whatever color they want their cat to be. I just squirt the paint directly on the plate and let her spread it out with a foam brush. Let it dry.
Cut a wide U shape out at the top of the plate. You don’t need to cut a lot of the plate, just enough to make it pointy on each side. This will form the ears.
Add some googly eyes and strips of white paper for whiskers. You could also use yarn for whiskers.
Add pink triangles to the ears and nose.
