Easy Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

These Au Gratin potatoes were so creamy, cheesy and delicious. These taste great with ham and steak, but really they are the perfect side dish for whatever you are serving. This is also the easiest way I have ever found to make au gratin potatoes. I have tried the recipes where you layer the potatoes and cheese, but this one you mix everything together and then dump it in your baking dish. Not only was there a lot less prep time, but I feel like this way made the potatoes cook faster and more evenly. I will be making these potatoes again and again and I know I won’t hear any complaints from my family.easy creamy au gratin potatoes

April, I’ve never tried it, but I think if you covered them in the fridge for a few hours they would turn out just fine.ReplyCancel

First time review. I made this dish tonight. I followed the recipe, just added some broil time after it was done. I’m not a good cook. These potatoes were sooo delicious. I used Idaho Golden potatoes.  Lucious, creamy potatoes.  I will make it again. ReplyCancel

I was wondering if you could make this up the night before than but in oven next dayReplyCancel

    • Absolutely. You may need to adjust the cook time for an extra 15-20 minutes if it isn’t room temperature.ReplyCancel
