Hello! I’m Alli from Cupcake Diaries and I’m thrilled to be here sharing this fun under the sea snack with the readers at My Mommy Style! This has been such a fun series and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
We are all about snacks at our house. My kids really love snacking on fruit. Especially bananas! I had to buy bananas three times because they kept eating them before I could get to making these Banana Dolphins. It felt like such an accomplishment when I finally photographed these little guys!
This is such a fun under the sea snack idea! And they’re super easy to make. All you need is bananas, grapes, a sharp knife, and a sharpie and you’re good to go!
These banana dolphins would be perfect for an after school snack or a birthday party. My boys decided they needed to watch the movie “Dolphin Tale” while they ate these bananas dolphins. Lots of possibilities with this snack!
Banana Dolphins
- bananas
- grapes
- sharpie
- sharp knife
Carefully cut down the center of the top of a banana. Open the banana just enough to look like an open mouth.
Draw a black dot above the mouth for the eye and place a grape in the mouth.
Cut a chunk of the banana off the bottom to stand it up. Be careful not to cut too much off or it won’t stand.
Serve with more grapes. Enjoy!
I hope you love this snack! Follow me on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for more family friendly recipe ideas!
