These tie dye hearts are so easy and fun to make. They are perfect for Valentine’s Day because they can be used as a cool decoration, but you could really make these all year and have fun. There are just a few simple steps:
Step 1:
Cut heart shapes out of coffee filters. First fold them in half to make it easier and cut 4-5 at a time to make even easier.
Step 2:
Scribble a design on the hearts. It doesn’t have to look perfect. Just let your kids go to town. We stuck with pink and purple and red since these were for Valentine’s Day, but you can choose any color scheme you want.
Step 4:
Put hearts on paper towels and then drip water all over the hearts. We tried spraying them with water first, but we soon found out that they look way better and have a cooler tie dye effect when you drip the water.
Step 5:
Hang on a window to show off your awesome tie dye hearts.
