And more usual than not, my mind functions about the same. But other days, I get a flash of clarity.  If only for a moment – my...

Christmas Ornaments that teach of Christ

With Black Friday right around the corner it is so easy to get wrapped up in all of the “deals” that you need to go run and buy. Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, as it is for a lot of people, but I have found that it is becoming more and...

Christmas From Heaven, Book Review and Giveaway

One of my favorite things about this time of year is sharing stories and retelling stories that speak of the true meaning of Christmas: to give, to love, and to reach out to each other. A tradition that I have decided to do with my family is to read one Christmas story each night of...

Turkey Mac and Cheese Casserole

I’m back with another delicious leftover turkey recipe. I know this doesn’t look like your typical mac and cheese; if you’re from the south please don’t hurt me!! If you want we can just call it a cheesy turkey casserole.  Either way, it’s delicious. I did try to make it a little more healthy and...

Christmas Paper Craft Ideas You’ll Love – Kids Crafts

It’s official! I am THAT girl. You know, the one who listens to Christmas music even BEFORE Thanksgiving!  I can’t help it.  We’ve been crafting up a storm around here for Christmas, and what’s crafting without Christmas music?  Which, ps: I pretty much only craft at Christmas time.  Some of my very best memories growing up are of doing kid’s crafts with my mom, and now some of my best mommy memories are crafting with my kids.  So, despite my lack of talent, we through all caution to the wind and just have a blast!

To start off, I am so excited about this darling countdown to Christmas calendar I made!  Believe me when I say that if I can do it, ANYONE can!!      Click to read in full.
