We thought it would be fun to make an Earth craft since Earth Day is this Friday. This craft was super easy and my daughter thought it was so fun! It kept her entertained and busy for about 30 minutes straight and she loves looking at the final product.
Here’s what you need to make a stained glass Earth:
-Blue and green tissue paper, cut into small squares
-Black construction paper
-clear contact paper
Trace a circle onto a piece of black construction paper using a plate as a stencil. Cut the circle out and then cut the center out to make a thin circle.
Place the circle on sticky back of a piece of contact paper.
Start with the green tissue paper and stick on the contact paper to make the continents.
Then add the blue tissue paper to make the oceans.
Then place another piece of contact paper on top and press flat. Hang in a window.
