I accidentally started a tradition in my house this year. You may remember my Lorax face mask post where I printed 8×10 photos of my kids and turned them into the Lorax.
Well, after they were the Lorax for a while, I realized that St. Patrick’s Day was coming up, so I turned the kids into leprechauns.
And now they are Easter bunnies.
My kids think this is hilarious so I will probably keep dressing them up for different holidays and seasons through out the year. I’ve been saving the props in a folder so next year they will already be made to make this super easy. I am awful at printing pictures and displaying them in frames, so I love that this is a way to have pictures of my kids out, but also a fun holiday decoration.
Just take a picture of your child’s face and then crop it as closely to the face as you can. Print the picture, laminate it and then cut out the face. I used some craft glue to add magnets to the back of the photos and I use double sided tape to add the props to their faces and because they are laminated I can easily remove the tape when I’m done.

I absolutely LOVE this idea!
Thank you, Eliza! They make me smile every time I walk into my kitchen. 🙂
