Cash Back While you Shop with RetailMeNot

One thing that I did NOT realize is that RetailMeNot is offering cash back on top of their coupon savings + offers. For example, if you are shopping at ToysRUs for toys right now and you spend $100 going through the RetailMeNot site, you will get $10 back! You can even stack this savings with your own coupon savings that you may find online through RetailMeNot or your own coupons that come through the mail.   I recently fell in love with LOVE with Buxom lip gloss and I know that ULTA has specials at this time of year which is the perfect time to try out a new shade or sample set. Fortunately I was able to stack a coupon code that came to me in the mail from being on ULTA’s mailing list for 20% off my entire purchase and then I discovered that Retailmenot has a $5 cash back reward for $40 spent online through ULTA right now.   I was really excited about this because I just ran out of my favorite mascara (which is currently buy one get one half off) and added my 20% off code, + $5 back from RetailMeNot. This is something I would regularly pick up from the grocery store but because I used RetailMeNot I was able to save a lot! With one click you can claim up to $30 in cash back rewards with buying things you are already buying! The $5 cash back will be available with a $40 purchase, and free shipping is activated at $50, so I added some Stila lip colors to try. So where my total regularly would have been (8×2) mascara+32+20+5.95 shipping+3.51 tax=$77.46, my total was $54.70-$5 cash back, so the final price is 49.70. I saved $27.76, making each beauty item only $2.52!!! What!? That is like dollar store pricing for extremely high quality make up, not to mention the free samples. I am pretty excited about that! This is a #dealbrag I can’t keep to myself! You all should buy some stocking stuffers for yourself because heaven knows our husbands aren’t sure which lip plumping lip gloss you might like to try. 🙂 Gift Cards are a STEAL and an awesome option for gifts.  If you are not quite sure which gift would make the perfect surprise, consider buying a gift card at a discount. There are so many to choose from and you can even purchase a gift card to a favorite restaurant or movie theater that will be delivered right to your inbox. I am going to snag a theater gift card for all of my kids’ teachers for Christmas this year and say something like, “I hope you enjoy your break and have a chance to escape into another world. Enjoy a movie on us!” Or something like that. Consider travel deals as well if you are looking to travel soon.

How Does the Cash Back Work?  The Cash Back Offers from RetailMeNot take 15-30 days to process, but it is added like cash to your online wallet that you can use on anything you want. I snagged this verbiage directly from the website, “Click the offer link to activate the Cash Back Offer and go directly to the retailer’s site from RetailMeNot to make your purchase. Your status will move to “Pending” and we’ll process your reward; this takes between 15 and 30 business days. Your status will then move from “Pending” to “Approved.” Once approved, you’ll receive an email from us stating a reward is available to be redeemed from your RetailMeNot wallet.” This ups the game for saving money for gift giving and re-thinking how I’m going to shop for the essentials and splurges for myself.
