I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for having information on your website about how to get crayons out of clothes using a front load washer. I happened to stumble on your information and it was so helpful.
In all the years I’ve been doing laundry this was the first time I had this happen to me. I’ve already raised my daughter and now I have a grandaughter who loves crayons! Needless to say, I forgot to check my pockets in my pants….and boy what a shock I had when I opened the door of my dryer. I had colors of the rainbow on all my clothes as well as my grandaughters! I cried since I thought I ruined everything!
Then I decided to go on the internet. I found your information and you made my day! The majority of the crayons disappeared on the clothes leaving behind just a few little marks on some. Those little marks I can live with!
Thank you again for this information.
A Happy Grandma!ReplyCancel

Your tip on getting crayon that has been washed and dried into clothes saved my day and a load of laundry today!! My 9 year old left a red crayon in her khaki shorts and it was all over EVERYTHING! UGH! Following your steps, it came out of pretty much everything, except a couple of really small spots. That’s amazing! Now, you need to tell me how to get gum out of a fleece blanket, and I’ll love you. Lol. They’ve stumped me here. ? (I have 6 kids…they do things when my back is turned, ha.) Anyways, thank you, and I’m going to check out the rest of your site when I have time!ReplyCancel

I liked your painting without paintbrushes. One of my favorite tools to paint with is a potato masher. I’ve been in the early childhood education field for 32 years and have done many of the activities you have suggested. I really like your site.ReplyCancel

You forgot to add cocoa to your chocolate banana muffin recipe.
