Edible Marshmallow Play Dough

Place the marshmallows and coconut oil or vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave the mixture in short intervals, stirring in between, until the marshmallows are melted and smooth.
Slowly add the powdered sugar to the melted marshmallow mixture and mix well.
Continue adding powdered sugar and kneading the dough until it reaches a play dough consistency.
If desired, add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolors and knead until the color is evenly distributed.
