First let me give a big THANK YOU to My Mommy Style for featuring me as a guest blogger. It is so fun to network with other blogs and they have a great one for sure!
Next let me say, I love Valentines day! It’s one of my favorite holidays. I love the frills, hearts and the true sentiments of sharing love with others. We usually do a special dinner from lobster to shrimp and have fondue to accompany it. I include our daughter in the planning and it makes for a romantic family dinner to be enjoyed by all.
This year, we will still do the fondue- but we’ve added a gluten free component to our lifestyle. That got me to thinking ahead. We’re also having a Valentine’s Party for our daughter that day, so what would be better than Valentine Cupcakes? I wanted to work on a recipe in advance. So I experimented with using Pamela’s Pancake & Baking mix, strawberries and Pamela’s vanilla icing. They turned out delicous!
We even had cupcake toppers made. You can find them at our Store Envy Shop: use code OPEN50 and you can download for just $1.00!
There’s also adorable chevron treat bags for a dollar as well.
Here’s the recipe for the Gluten-Free Strawberry Cupcakes
and the link to the Gluten-Free Vanilla Icing.
My daughter and I have also enjoyed decorating around the house.
Here’s some of the creations- most come with tutorials!

I’ve really enjoyed making each of these projects, I try to keep it simple and stylish.

From our house to yours- Have a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
