This is my go-to roll recipe, they are so delicious! I make the dough in the bread maker to save me some time. The trouble is keeping myself from eating a dozen of them all by myself when I take them out of the oven!
Sweet dinner rolls
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup warm milk
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1. Place all of the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Knead cycle; press Start.
2. When cycle finishes roll 1-2 inch balls of dough and place on a lightly greased pan. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
3. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.
