It was such a pleasure to sit down with Ashlee from AshleeMarie.com. She has so much talent in cakes and everything baking and is really a remarkable woman. It is always so inspiring to me to find out what else is going on underneath all of that talent and the daily struggles and triumphs that people endure. Ashlee shares with us her courageous take on autism, understanding the spectrum and moving forward beautifully. I love her positive outlook on things and her willingness to open up with us! You can read more about her experience of filming with us HERE.
This year I threw my daughter a Frozen birthday party (let’s face it if you have daughter it’s the theme of the year). It involved all of my favorite things, fun themed foods, amazing cakes, crafts and more! I have full step by step tutorials for these Anna and Elsa princess cakes…
And of course you can’t have a fun party without good food!!! I love to come up with fun themed treats, like these Olaf caramel and chocolate covered pears (serious not just cute but SO delicious, so much better than apples, promise). I also have Rock Troll Oreo truffle balls, Kristoff Jello Ice blocks, Han’s sandwiches and Pine tree Cookies (and more)…
And to keep the kids occupied some fun crafts! Fake snow (great for my Asperger kids and their sensory issues), Felt snowflake hair clips, crystalized painting and my favorite, Snow Globe rings!
Come check out this and other parties and of course all my fun recipes!
