I actually got the idea for this letter of the day craft from a Halloween costume I recently saw posted on facebook. I thought it would be a great way to learn the letter R. While this craft is fun, just be aware that it takes a long time to dry, unless you use something besides glue.

What you will need:
- Grey, black or blue card stock for a letter R
- blue construction paper
- blue yarn
- cotton balls
- glue
Directions:
Trace and cut out a letter R out of grey card stock. It can be a hard color to find, so black, blue or white would also work. Glue cotton balls at the top of the R and then glue different lengths of yarn at the bottom. Attach blue raindrops to the ends of the yard with glue or tape. Have fun!
