I live in a small town in Northern Utah. I love it here and there are many wonderful things about it, but my favorite thing is all of the many fruit stands that line the highway just south of town. They are quaint and old fashioned and sell the best local, orchard fresh produce. It’s like having a farmers market every day of the week. This week I stopped by for some pumpkins and found they were having an end of the season sale. Not only did I get my pumpkins for .50-1.00 each, but I also bought butternut squash for .25 each! I was so excited I bought some to make some Halloween decorations with.
It was really easy to do. First, pick out your squash. Make sure you pick squash that can stand up on their own.
Then spray paint them white.
Paint on some ghost faces with black paint.
That’s it! I think my ghosts look pretty darn cute displayed next to my pumpkins on my porch.
