My kids love to get those colorful plastic pumpkin buckets for trick-or-treating. I don’t mind because they are only a dollar and then when Halloween is over I don’t feel bad about getting rid of them. One less holiday item to box up and store, right? Well, I found a super cute way to repurpose the buckets and turn them into something you will love to display. Don’t believe me!? (Don’t worry my husband didn’t either.)
I spray painted the pumpkin with three coats of ivory paint, cut off the handle, and filled it with some artificial flowers I had sitting around. I was so happy with how it turned out.
Best of all, you can find a spot in your house where you can turn it around (so the jack o lantern face doesn’t show) and display it through Thanksgiving.
