Rice Milk Waffles Recipe

I recently took care of a nephew that has a milk allergy, so I whipped up these rice milk waffles to help him have a cozy morning. This rice milk waffle recipe is pretty straight forward and delicious. He absolutely loved them, although to be honest my kids turned up their noses simply because it was different. My youngest two had no problem with the difference and love the rice milk waffles.

Rice Milk Waffle Recipe

These Rice Milk Waffles are a delicious way to enjoy breakfast dairy milk free.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 C All purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 C Rice Milk
  • 1/2 C Vegetable or Canola Oil
  • 1 tblspoon white sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in a large bowl by hand or with a small hand mixer. Beat eggs until fluffy. 

  2. Add flour, milk, oil, sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.


  3. Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray. I like to use olive oil spray. Our mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown and serve hot.
