Extend Your Summer in Ocala/Marion County, Florida

I would love to take my family zip lining and see the gorgeous landscape from above the trees. If heights are not your thing, which they are not my husbands, I would love to take him horseback riding and swimming in the many natural springs. We are an outdoor loving family and would love to enjoy the wildlife on hikes, from a canoe, or take a ride on the Glass Bottom Boats. If you want to go for a swim the natural springs stay at comfortable temperature all year long. There are many different options available so you will want to consider the people you are traveling with as well as how long you are hoping to stay. A bed and breakfast with a cozy atmosphere could be just what you are looking for to celebrate an anniversary. Or maybe you would like to have more outdoorsy experience with campfires, s’mores, and a canopy of trees. There is no doubt I would want to visit Rainbow River. This photo is stunning! I don’t know that I would want to swim in this river, but I would love to watch the grass blades in the water and look for all of the interesting things that live in it!
