Slow Cooker Maple Dijon pork chops

I have never made pork chops in the Crock Pot and thought it would be fun to give it a try. These pork chops were sweet and savory and SO good! We served these on top of some brown rice and the sauce is almost as good as the pork chops themselves. One last thing that I have to mention is that this was also one of the easiest dinners I have ever made. This is a great dinner all around.

Great recipe but warning, use a good apple cider vinegar. I used Heinz apple cider vinegar the first time and it was too harsh, bitter and astringent but still good. I used Spectum Farms Organic Unpasturized the second and what a difference! It had more of a cider flavor than vinegar and completely enhanced the everything about this dish. This is now one of my favorite recipes. I served the chops over brown rice the first time and with red potatoes the second. You canā€™t go wrong either way.ReplyCancel

This recipe is sooooo good. I will definitely make this again. The pork falls apart like pulled pork and the onions carmelize! Only thing I added was bacon on the bottom and chopped garlic.ReplyCancel

Would really like toget the nutritional information on this per serving. How many calories? How much unsaturated fat. Protein? Carbs?ReplyCancel

Loved it! I never make pork chops tender enough so I thought Iā€™d try this recipe.Ā  I generally do not like the taste of apple cider vinegar but I thought I have to at least try it.Ā  I also added garlic, cilantro and basil to the mix. The chops fell apart as soon as my fork hit the meat! Which is exactly what I hoped for!! I will definitely be buying pork chops more oftenReplyCancel

  • What are the calories for this recipe?Ā  Iā€™d love to make it ā€” it sounds delicious ā€” but I have to count my calories daily.Ā  Thanks!ReplyCancel
