This is my final elf on the shelf post of the year and I’m getting a little sad. We love our elf and I know my kids are going to be sad when he’s gone. I hope you have enjoyed our elf on the shelf ideas! Don’t forget to pin your favorite ideas and check out these other elf on the shelf posts:
So, here is what Streamer has been up to this week:
I made this swing out of a toilet paper role and twine one day.
To keep the elf on the swing I used a little white thread tied around his wrist and then to the twine.
It came in handy because the next day I used my glue gun and stuck the toilet paper roll onto some card stock to create a sled.
It was so fun all the cool toys lined up to have a turn.
Just before bed I let the kids push the sled down the hill. He had been tempting them all day dangling over the edge like that, I told him he wouldn’t mind being on the floor for a little while before heading back to the North Pole. Everyone loved it! I’m sure Streamer had fun too.
One day Streamer was reading a Dinosaur book to all the dinosaurs.
Then he came and hung upside down on our garland with a bunch of candy canes.
I saved this picture for last, and I’m laughing hysterically while I write this because I realize how creepy this one is. Elf haters are going to go crazy with this one, but let me explain. My son realllllly wanted this to happen and was so happy in the morning. It’s still pretty creepy.
