Meet Camille

Little black dress, my mommy style, cents of style, Ruby claire boutique

Camille Walker

I just want to start by thanking you for being here and for supporting My Mommy Style, this blog began as a fun idea I had to enrich my life as a Mother and share the things I learned along the way and I am beyond thrilled that I have been able to share this journey with Janae (my sister), and Melissa (my cousin.)

If we met I would probably shock you by talking like we had known each other for years. I still surprise my husband often when I strike up a conversation with someone that my husband is sure I know only to find out later that we had just met. I love meeting new people but I also love the company of my dearest, oldest friends. I am an Aquarius. I am very active and love to snowboard, wakeboard, run, workout, hike, or just chase my kids around the house. I love to plan a party and bring people together, but as I am the youngest of my family I find that I also need recharging time all on my own and can veg through a full season of something fabulous on Netflix.

I am a bargain hunter, a DIYer, a Harry Potter lover, I enjoy fashion but I don’t obsess over it. I have been doing my makeup the same way most of my life and am just now learning how to shape my eyebrows or wear concealer. I try not to sweat the small stuff and watch organizing videos just for fun. I love music and find that to be one of the best cures for a blue day. I love to decorate and move things around in my house over and over again. By accident I discovered that natural labor was the way I preferred to deliver my babies and I hope one day to be a doula.

I have been married now for 11 years and find my happiest moments shared with my little people and my sweet husband. I am living the dream I always imagined when I was a little girl but trust me when I say that I have a lot of imperfect days, sleepless nights, and top knot, greasy hair days.

I am a certified teacher in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, spent 6 years as a mortgage broker, but I knew that when my children came along I wanted to spend my days at home with them. The ability to share with you what I know and am learning along the way via {this blog} has been one of the greatest blessings ever. I love to hear from you and answer any questions that you may have!

I hope that millions follow this blog so that one day they can come to know the amazing person I already know you are! Cheers to another new journey – The Solstice Sisters!ReplyCancel

RaNae Bennett - I LOVE this, Camille!!! Keep up the good work. I will be checking out and “liking” when I can see the button. Lovely idea!
Solstices really are a special time and there are many myths surrounding them. I would be happy to contribute some of what I have, just for learning and fun.
Ray and I each have a daughter born on a solstice. Heidi on June 21 and Noel on Dec 21. Awesomeness!ReplyCancel
