Okay, so stroganoff isn’t the prettiest food to look at, but if you can get past the grey sauce it tastes really good. Make sure to serve it with a nice green salad with a variety of vegetables to add some color to the plate.
Ingredients:
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 Tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 1/2 cups beef broth
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
8 ounces sour cream
Directions:
1. In a large skillet combine ground beef, onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring, until meat is brown.
2. Add salt and pepper. Stir in flour, beef broth, and mushrooms, continue to stir, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Stir in sour cream and heat until just hot.
4. Serve over hot egg noodles.

This is the best beef stroganoff recipe. I’m totally making this next week. 🙂
I found this recipe on Pinterest when I was trying to find a quick and simple stroganoff recipe using ground beef. It was amazing! I always know a recipe is a keeper when my dad doesn’t talk at all when eating and then goes back for seconds. I made it with canned mushrooms because I’m weird and can’t stand fresh ones. I thought 8oz. was too many so when I make it again I’m just going to cut the amount in half.
