All Things Green: Welcomes Spring

As this time of year approaches, I am always filled with hope and revival.  All things around me seem  to be coming to life, from the pieces of grass poking up through the tired patches of snow – to the flitting birds that sneak out of their winter hiding places.

Cleaning the house seems a little less dreary and there is an energy, even in my children that comes alive as the temperatures begin to gradually rise.  The all consuming holidays are resting for a bit, and plans for summer begin to dance in my mind;  soccer games, swimming pools, Easter eggs, picnics, and flying kites.  Paint swatches somehow end up in my wallet, and the half yearly drawer flushing ensues.

You see, it’s SPRING!

I love the seasons here in Utah, and when I think of GREEN (My favorite color in many shades) it is synonymous with SPRING.  I believe that the mind – body – and spirt are revived and enjoy a new beginning this time of year.  So, I decided to pull out some pictures I took of my kids, to help us shake those cobwebs from our cold joints, and celebrate!

We love going to the barn in the springtime to visit the baby chicks, pigs, and cows.  What a beautiful world we live in.
